Dear Friend of the Willow Glen Foundation,

Please join us in celebrating the Foundation’s 15th birthday! During these 15 years, with the active support of our community, we’ve worked to foster academic achievement and cultural enrichment at Willow Glen Middle School and Willow Glen High School, helping them become two of the most desirable schools in the South Bay.

  • In 2015, WGHS was named by The Washington Post as one of the most challenging high schools in the country. With our excellent teachers and a growing list of Advanced Placement, accelerated, STEM (science, technology, engineering and math), and arts classes enhancing the curriculum, WGHS offers every student the chance to succeed.
  • Last year’s WGHS graduating seniors were accepted into some of the most prestigious universities in the country, including every UC and CSU, as well as Stanford, Princeton, USC, Boston University, and many more.
  • This year, demand to attend WGMS is so high that enrollment is comprised entirely of neighborhood students. We’re proud that the community recognizes the excellent education our public schools provide, and we’re excited to welcome our incoming 6th grade families!
  • In 2014-15, the Willow Glen Foundation raised more money than ever, funding grants in excess of $75,000 for WGHS and WGMS to support science and technology, teacher training, common core studies, cultural understanding, and student life.

Since its founding, Willow Glen’s generous community has supported the Foundation to partner with our talented educators in creating two of the best secondary schools in San Jose. Our schools have improved with each dollar of financial support and each hour of volunteer time that you’ve shared. Thank you for making a huge difference for our neighborhood and our youth!

With our success comes the need to remain diligent and keep improving. The Willow Glen Foundation recognizes the unique role we play in making our schools the best they can be. We look forward to continuing to work with our community to keep Willow Glen atop everyone’s list of the best places to live – and go to school – in Silicon Valley.

Thank you for your continued support!
