Willow Glen Education Foundation
Willow Glen Education Foundation is a nonprofit organization serving Willow Glen Middle School (WGMS) and Willow Glen High School (WGHS). We are a school-connected organization (SCO) and we develop resources and fund programs that inspire, promote, and support the academic achievement as well as social and cultural enrichment of all students at WGMS and WGHS.
We’re similar to a PTA, but a little different!
We are one of four separate parent organizations that work together at WGHS and WGMS to help ensure your children have a well-rounded school experience during their middle and high school years.

Sunday, September 21, 2025: WGEd Community Event, 4:00-8:00pm @ Hapas Brewery (460 Lincoln Ave)
The Willow Glen Education Foundation is hosting its very first Community Event of the year! Join us on Sunday, September 21, between 4:00 pm – 8:00pm, at Hapa’s Brewery (460 Lincoln Ave) in the “VIP section”. We are excited to welcome everyone, new faces, familiar faces, AND please extend the invite to neighbors and friends who would also like to come and socialize. No fee to attend. Just bring yourself and anyone else who enjoys good company, a tasty Hapa’s brew, and mixing among people who care about our community!
Wednesday, October 8, 2025: WGEd General Meeting, 6:00pm @ WGHS Library
Get involved and stay informed about what’s happening on campus by attending our monthly meeting. Unlike a traditional PTA, we don’t charge dues for membership. Meetings are free and open to all members of our community. Principals from both the middle school and high school usually attend to provide updates as well. Join us in person, or tune in on Google Meet for an audio stream.

We are excited to celebrate our 20th Tasting & Auction this fall. This event includes delicious food, exceptional local wine and beer, and the opportunity to bid on exciting items in the auction, all in support of vital education and cultural enrichment programs at WGMS and WGHS. Get ALL the details including how to be come a sponsor, donate auction items, or host a Fun With Friends event.

New Family Resources
In early July we sent out an email to all incoming 6th grade families via the local elementary school PTO’s. Check it out if you haven’t yet seen it. There’s loads of useful info there for new families to WGMS.
